INTRODUCTION

   The Fatima Prayer Cell of Holiness is a weekly, or monthly spiritual gathering for small group prayer before the blessed Sacrament or in a home. Members endeavor to grow in holiness by resonding to Our Lady's requests for prayer, penance and sacrifice in a spirit of reparation to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary for the conversion of poor sinners. therby they work to bring about the triumph of the Immaculate Heart and promised era of peace to mankind.

   It maybe said that the Prayer cell began in 1916 with the appearance of the Angel of Peace to the three shepard children, Lucia, Francisco and Jacinta.  In 1917, Our Lady appeared and told them to pray and make sacrifices for sinners. the children discussed the meaning of the message given by the Angel and Our Lady.  the shepard children encouraged each other to pray and make sacrifices. Prayer cell members fo the same.

   Why is it called a "Cell"? Just as cells form the human body by dividing and growing, a Prayer Cell should do the same after there are 8-10 members, or if they have completed a level within the Formation Program. The group then splits and forms a new Prayer Cell.  this is how the Prayer Cell grows, multiplies and spreads the holiness of Fatima within theChurch, and fills people with the prayerful spirit of Our Lady's Message.   >>>

REFLECTION AND RESOULTION:

Silently reflect on the readings or talk and after some discussion, determine resolution privately, as a group, or as presented in the lesson.

EXAMINATION BY CELL MEMBERS:

Ask questions like: "How well did we keep our personal and apostolic resoultions?"  or "What have we done to further the Message of Fatima?" 

ACT OF CONSECRATION:

IMMACULATE HEART OF MARY, Queen of heaven and earth and tender Mother of men, in accordance with Thy ardent wish made known at Fatima, I consecrate to thee myself, my bretheren, my country and the whole human race. Reign over us and teach us how to make the Heart of Jesus reign and triumph in us and around us as It has reigned and triumped in Thee.   >>>

FORMATION PROGRAM

The Formation Program is a step-by-step study guide that includes a 4 level growth process. All 4 levels include:

• Spiritual Reading
• Reflection and Resoulution
• Silent Reflection
• Discussion
• Examination by Cell Members
• Act of Consecration

Step 1 forms one in the spirituality of the Message of Fatima through a more in depth look into the words of Lucia Speaks. Once this first level completes its first year, it splits to form a new Prayer Cell moving to Step 2 using the same process. All levels are ongoing to allow for new members to join at any time, attend lessons they missed, or repeat a level before moving on to the next step.

Come, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of thy faithful and enkindle in them the fire of Thy love.

V. Send forth Thy Spirit and they shall be created.

R. And Thou shalt renew the face of the earth.

LET US PRAY.  O God, Who didst instruct the hearts of the faithful by the light of the Holyspirit, grant us, in the same Spirit, to be truly wise and ever to rejoice in His consolation, through Christ Our Lord. Amen   >>>

Reign  over us, dearest Mother, that we may be thine in prosperity and in adversity, in joy and in sorrow, in health and in sickness, in life and in death.  O most compassionate heart of Mary, Queen of Virgins, watch over our minds and hearts and preserve them from the deluge of impurity which Thou didst lament so sorrowfully at Fatima. We want to be pure like thee.  We want to atone for the many sins committed against Jesus and Thee. We want to call down upon our country and the whole world the peace of God in justice and charity.

Therefore, we now promise to imitate thy virtues by the practice of a Christian life without regard to human respect. We resolve to receive Holy Communion on the first Saturday of every month and to offer thee five decades of the Rosary each day together with our sacrifices in a spirit of reparation and penance. Amen
